After yummy waffles for breakfast, Lucy hopped down and announced- quite grandly, in fact, "I have a beautiful face." (Where that came from, I'm not sure ;-)
me: "Yes, Lucy, God gave you a very beautiful face."
lucy: "And God gave me beautiful dresses."
me: "Yes, beautiful, twirly dresses. God gives us lots of wonderful things, and the most wonderful thing he's given me is you."
lucy: "And the most wonderful thing he's given me is...JACK!"
My heart melted faster than butter on hot waffles! So sweet!
